From your inputs to a usable result
01
Measure your actual room and items
Choose from 80 illustrative footprints or add custom entries. Edit dimensions, confirm measurements and reserve your own corridor and obstacle rectangles.
02
Arrange and adjust the room
Run the bounded packing solver, keep required positions pinned, then drag, nudge or edit coordinates. Review every unplaced item and overlapping allowance.
03
Keep a clear plan
Export a numbered SVG diagram, printable HTML with inventory, CSV measurements or a JSON project backup. Partial arrangements stay explicitly labeled.
Before you start
Where is my project saved?
Projects are saved in this browser for this site account. Download a JSON backup before changing devices or clearing browser storage.
Are the example dimensions product specifications?
No. The library contains original generic examples. Measure your actual objects and confirm their dimensions before automatic placement. New examples start unconfirmed.
What does the solver guarantee?
It checks entered rectangular bounds, non-overlap, allowances and fixed positions. Eight bounded packing passes and limited replacement search do not guarantee an optimal or complete arrangement. An unplaced item does not prove that no arrangement exists.
Are corridors or furniture certified safe?
No. You choose and measure reserved regions. The tool does not assess connected routes, accessibility, stability, height, door motion or building rules. It is a floor-planning aid.
What happens when I rebuild?
Pinned positions and fixed zones stay unchanged. Unpinned included items can move or become unplaced. Excluded items retain their data. Undo and JSON backups can recover an earlier plan.
Can I export a partial arrangement?
Yes. Unplaced and excluded items are labeled in every export. Geometric conflicts block plan exports until corrected. SVG and HTML are schematic, not drawings to print at 1:1 scale.
Can I resume later?
Reopen the saved project on this browser and account, or restore its JSON backup. Keep backups in a place you trust because they include your supplied material.
